What is PSP?
The Professional Selling Program is a prestigious offering within the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. It is designed to train highly capable students with the sales skills needed for success. This program provides practical, hands-on experiences to prepare students to become top sales professionals. It includes role plays, competitions, and networking opportunities to help outstanding individuals excel in the industry.
PSP students also have access to mentorship and various unique opportunities to distinguish themselves.
Relevant Coursework
Marketing and Sales
- Developed a brand new product to be introduced in the market.
- Worked on different marketing strategies to promote our novel product.
- Performed market research and analysis to indentify best conditions to release our product.
- Presented every week all the advancements on our project for professional and peer feedback and recommendations.
- Participated and won 2nd place in the Northwestern Mutual Competition with the presentation of our innovative product.
Project Management
- Learned about GANTT Charts and how to use them in a project.
- Developed a creative new project to be released at UCF.
- Presented in front of an audience about the management of our new product.
- Prepared a comprehensive budget for our project to estimate the total cost of completion and launch.
